Vilamoura Marina is the largest marina in the Algarve, with berths for over 1,000 vessels ranging from small sailing boats to superyachts. The marina promenade is lined with restaurants, bars, shops, and a casino, forming the social hub of the Vilamoura resort. Boat trips, fishing charters, and dolphin-watching excursions depart from the marina daily. The marina hosts sailing regattas and boat shows throughout the year. It is also the departure point for coastal excursions to the Benagil cave and other cliff formations. The adjacent beach, Praia da Marina, is popular and well serviced.
