EN120
Street guide, Algarve News
The EN120 is a national road connecting the Algarve's southern coast to the western Costa Vicentina, running from the Lagos area northward through Aljezur to the Alentejo coast. The road passes through the Parque Natural do Sudoeste Alentejano e Costa Vicentina and provides the main access to the surf beaches of Arrifana, Monte Clerigo, and Amoreira. The route is winding and scenic, passing through eucalyptus and cork forests, with occasional views to the Atlantic. For surfers and visitors to the western coast, the EN120 is the principal access road. It is a two-lane road throughout and can be slow behind agricultural vehicles.
